"My philosophy is in my 3 P's of Leadership – Passion, Purpose and Plan. My passion is to love and educate every student everyday to the best of my ability; every purpose will always support my passion; and, once my passion and purpose are in alignment, a plan is developed.”
Carrie’s 30 years of experience has allowed her to work with amazing educators around the state and nationally. She has served as a teacher, school counselor, school principal at all three levels, a director of professional learning and an educational consultant.
Her participation in many learning opportunities throughout Colorado, other states and in Finland have broadened her expertise, and she enjoys sharing this knowledge with other colleagues. She has a deep passion for design thinking, project-based learning, and improvement in school culture as the foundation for growth and achievement for students.
She and her husband both work as educators and coaches, and they also co-own Cow-A-Bunga Ice Cream in Lafayette, Colorado, where they provide opportunities for young people to learn about serving others and scooping up happiness.
