Check Back Soon for 2019-20 Trip Dates or Schedule Your Own!
Join your peers in these hands-on, interactive trips to innovative learning and work spaces around Metro Denver to inspire and push your thinking and then translate that inspiration into practical changes within your classroom, school or district.
During an EdVenture, you and your peers will engage in thought provoking conversations with creative workers while you explore the work spaces they inhabit - learning and asking questions about the way they work, learn and apply their skills and how their environment (communications, furniture, work flows etc.) supports them.
After each exploration, you will convene with your peers and local and national thought leaders to make meaning of your experience and generate ideas for translating those into actionable, micro-practices and changes in your own learning and work environments. You then try out these changes and reconvene with the group to discuss successes, pain points and new opportunities and provide feedback, tools and new ideas to each other. One-on-one coaching is also available to support you with added thought partnership and implementation support.
We will offer two EdVentures in 2019-20. Each consists of a half-day trip in the morning, followed by meaning making and planning during the afternoon. The group then decides when to reconvene to discuss progress and challenges (in person or virtually). Let us know if you want to participate by providing your contact information here. We'll notify you once the dates are set. We can also customize a trip for your school or district so let us know if that is of interest.
The fee for each EdVenture and follow-up conversations is $200 per person.
Your facilitator and coach is Noah Geisel.
