Instructional Community of Practice
Via Zoom

In our virtual Instructional Community of Practice, you will join fellow change makers who want to challenge the status quo and raise the bar for Colorado’s education system.

In this pivotal moment in time, we have a unique opportunity to do this work differently. The past year has shown us that we can adapt and change – and, this year, we can move that change forward to benefit our school communities for the long-term.

This community offers you:

  • A no-judgement zone to brainstorm and push boundaries

  • A supportive group of peers who will encourage each other to reach a higher level

  • A foundation for championing positive change in your district.

Think beyond the year ahead. The work you do now will set the stage for the future of our education system.

Why Participate

  • To exchange critical instructional related knowledge, experiences and information with peers

  • To gain new insights from colleagues on ways to remove your district’s roadblocks, improve learning and make progress

  • To offer and receive feedback, moral support and commiseration with others

  • To stretch yourself as an instructional leader

  • To foster shared ownership and accountability that leads toward action and results within your district – braver, bolder and stronger together.

Format and Time Commitment

  • Meetings are on Zoom

  • During the first gathering, members will engage in a collaborative design process to create the formats and structures which best meet their needs.

  • Members will meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on the first Tuesdays of the month from September through March (hours will be 3 to 5 p.m. in Sept.)

  • The community welcomes up to two members per district
