PRACTICE YOUR COACHING

This experience with a small community of education leaders and an experienced Front Range BOCES coach will increase your confidence and efficacy as a coach. Whether you want to prepare for an upcoming coaching or PLC conversation, revisit one that didn’t land the way you hoped, or work through a situation where you’re unsure whether to coach, consult, or direct, your community gives you a low‐risk space to practice real moves and receive honest, supportive feedback.

Your group meets six times across the year for 60 to 75 minutes and co‐creates session agendas to match what members need, using a mix of in‐person and Zoom formats. Between sessions, you can apply new approaches and resources in your own setting and share what you’re learning when the group reconvenes. After the second, fourth, and final sessions, you can schedule a complimentary 30‐minute one‐on‐one coaching session with your facilitator for deeper work.

To the degree possible, your community will be composed of leaders in similar roles and experience levels. You can also invite peers and form your own community that Front Range BOCES facilitates. This spring, your group will set meeting dates for next year so you are ready to go when school starts.

The work was authentic and specific to my school and practice. I’m so grateful that I made the time for this learning.”— Loraine Swartz
