Implementation Insights

We have two in-person visits scheduled this fall at Front Range host schools. Our first is at Heritage Elementary in Cherry Creek, where the promising practice is collaborative and systemic structures for teacher-led interventions. The second is at Fulton Academy in Aurora Public Schools, where the focus is student discourse structures. Come to one or both.

During each visit, you will:

  1. Learn about and observe the promising practice in action

  2. Share insights and resources with peers and host leadership regarding their implementation successes and challenges

  3. Gather new tools and strategies from the host team and other participants to integrate into your own school(s)

  4. Build a network of leaders who are interested in these practices.

We appreciate Cherry Creek's and Aurora's leadership for stepping up to host these great learning opportunities at:

  • Heritage Elementary, Cherry Creek
    Thursday, Oct. 3, 8-10:30 a.m.

  • Fulton Academy, Aurora Public Schools
    Wednesday, Oct. 23, 8-10:30 a.m.

Watch this video invitation from Fulton's principal

Facilitators: Vivian Elliott, Stevan Kalmon and Rona Wilensky

Offer insights and fresh perspectives to host schools regarding their promising practices and challenges of scaling them. In return, walk away with new practices and strategies to try.

I appreciate this time hearing people’s perspectives from around the metro area. I think it’s great to get out of your own district because I think we can get a little bit siloed in our thoughts and how things should be, so it’s great to hear other people’s experiences.”—Kelly, 2023-24 Participant
